Trion, and by association, the Trion Nemesis are both new names in the supercar game. And as things stand, they might as well be here for the long haul. I say that because I’m smitten with its good looks and excellent form. Top of the line model Nemesis N1-RR comes with a humongous 9.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine that has 2000 horses at its command. This motor will be mated to an 8-speed sequential transmission. Working together, the arrangement promises a zero to 60 mph time of 2.8 seconds, and a top speed of 290 mph.
Grab a cola, sit back, relax, and watch Ken Block pull off amazing stunts in Gymkhana 7. The unbelievably skilled driver of Hoonigan Racing teamed up with Need for Speed and Ford for this video that for a fair part plays out in the streets of LA. That brings us to the second amazing factor of the video. No cars on the roads of Los Angeles? They must have time traveled to a post-apocalyptic world!
Humans are cool. Animals are cool. Humans with animal heads, not cool at all, especially with the serenity that comes across in these images. There’s really no way to put aside the creepy feel that comes out of these images by multidisciplinary Venetian artist Francesco Sambo. For his project Bestiary, the artist delves into digitally manipulated images where human heads are swapped with, or mashed up with animal heads. Hell, even the koala… especially the koala, looks so very sinister.
It is entirely possible that no one ever imagined reading something like that. A bicycle smoking a Ferrari? That’s probably an indication that the four horsemen of the apocalypse are in town. Thankfully for sanity, we know that the bike is powered by a rocket engine, which explains why the poor Ferrari 430 Scuderia is left bellowing in the dust from the get-go.
The video was captured on November 7, 2014, where François Gissy reached a top speed of 207mph (333 km/h) at the famous Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France.
Ah, stereotypes. They’re so much fun if done tastefully, unless you get overcritical of what they portray. So sit back, relax and see Europe through the eyes of stereotypes. The video starts with how the USA views Europe and vice versa, and then delves into how different parts of Europe see each other. Quite amusing, I should say.

It’s the winter, and everyone is expected to wear the good old knitted holiday sweater. They may be weird, but there is no reason for them to not be awesome. That Cthulhu sweater looks great, and I know a Sasquatch who would be totally flattered by that pullover. Available at MiddleOfBeyond.
After the trailer for the upcoming Avengers movie, we start with a special, and silly look. Well, that didn’t stay light-hearted for long, but we’ll take what we get.
For anyone who ever has had to deal with them, braces are the very definition of a necessary evil. A painful, smelly, doggone evil that should never have existed. The timelapse here shows braces at work, putting teeth in their places. The orthodontic procedure shows an 11 year old girl, who underwent the treatment for 18 months. Torturous as braces may be, the results are pretty good.
There you go, checkout the final trailer for the upcoming movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Mockingjay Part 1 will arrive in theaters on November 21.
