Impress Chupacabra With Your Solid Gold Mountain Bike

How do you make a mountain bike special? You make one out of gold. This one is handcrafted and overlaid with 24K gold. Since that alone is not opulent enough, the mountain bike has a customized seat with brown alligator leather, a logo made of 600 black diamonds and 500 golden sapphires, and a gold covered water bottle. The gold plating of the bike alone took 800 hours to complete. Take this bike on your next expedition into the wild, and watch Chupacabra turn green with envy. The solid gold mountain bike is priced at $1 million.

Sofa bike lets you pedal in relative comfort

Yeah, this is another piece of automotive furniture. But this one is somewhat as good as a dining table with a motor squished inside. A creation of Jacek Holubowicz, the sofa has two separate 8-gear hubs, hydraulic brakes operated by the front handlebar, and dynamic chain steering. Put into simple language, you sit with a pal on the sofa, and push the pedals. Oh, and if it is too hot and sunny, you could always pull up the convertible roof. For good measure, the sofa bike is also packed with a 17 mAh battery and a stereo.

Dinosaur bones bike is the MortalCycle

Sculptor Jud Turner has created a number of bicycles shaped in the form of animal skeletons. He’s gone prehistoric with this new creation. Called the MortalCycle, this bike is made in the shape of a dinosaur skeleton. It has been created out of welded steel and found objects, and well it looks like it would be fun to see one on the road. Except this piece of art was never intended for the road by the artist, and those riding it won’t really appreciate the backbone of the dinosaur clawing into their behinds.
