Facebook has 1,258,244,934 users, and of course, millions of profile pictures that go with them. This image is a combination of all Facebook profile pictures, placed in order of signing up for the service. Of course, putting them all together in one tiny image means that no image is distinguishable, but the project The Faces of Facebook that came up with this image also has an interactive display where you can zoom in and take a closer look at the images. Artist Andrew Golden imagines what Facebook profile photos of video game characters might look like. The verdict? Not very different to the usual stuff that lands up on Facebook walls around the globe.
