Everybody knows its bad to text while driving, and yet people somehow totally ignore the warning. In fact, mobile use while driving is now the leading cause of death behind the wheel. In this PSA, Volkswagen shocked movie goers into seeing how bad texting while driving could be.
As people sit in the theater, a video begins to play of a car driving on the road. Soon enough, several people in the theater receive a text and as they look to their phone to check the text, the on-screen car crashes. That’s quite a rude wake-up call, but exceedingly helpful in driving the point home.
