Medieval Deadpool Leather Armor

Deadpool of the Medieval Age would be wearing a leather armor not much unlike this one. Called “Dark Knight,” it was created by Imperial Armories, and includes the full set “helmet, pauldrons, cuirass with articulated/floating plates, tassets, full articulated arms, articulated gauntlets, scale skirting, full articulated legs, articulated sabatons”.

Armor females wear in video games, or the clothes they wear in comic books is pretty much based on nudity, only strategically covering a few parts of the body. These illustrations were created as an exercise in humor, but they do very clearly show all that is wrong with armor, or the dress females wear in games. This set comments mostly on the scantily clad armor bearing women in most MMORPGs, armor that is just a glorified bikini, sometimes not even that.

Study Says it Wasn’t Really Cool to Run in Medeival Armor

We like to think that walking inside a metal dress that can easily weigh 30 to 50 kilos would be hardwork for anyone. But science my friends, does not lend itself to such thinking, ergo, the good people at the University of Leeds decided to put a guy into medieval armor, and had him run on a treadmill. Not quite astonishingly, they found the person in the armor had to use way more energy to move around, and could be tired easily.
