Middle-East is a very hot market for supercars, the more expensive and exclusive they get, the faster they sell. In a ground as fertile as this for sale, it would be obvious that someone would rise to take a slice of the market. The Arab world now has a supercar that it can call its own, and that is the W Motors’s Lykan Hypersport which made a show at the Qatar Auto Show.
Its twin-turbocharged flat six engine might be sourced from Porsche and be good enough to deliver 750hp. A speed of 100kmph from a standing start would be arrived at in 2.8 seconds, with the top speed fixed at 245mph. The Lykan will include world first diamond-encrusted LED lights, gold-stitched leather and what the company describes as a Virtual Holographic Display for the instrument panel.
Starting base price of the car is at $3.4 million that includes a special limited edition Cyrus Klepcy watch priced at $200,000.
