Living Cube is Your Tiny Living Space in a Cramped World
Faced with a tiny apartment with very limited space, designer Till Koenneker found out a way to make the best use of space available, and making the apartment appear spacious enough. Christened The Living Cube, the idea was to have an integrated walk-in storage space and sleeping area. Executed deftly, the cube now works as a storage, closet, shelf and guest bed, possibly freeing up a good amount of space, while merging well with the decor of the room. Koenneker had great help in the shape of his carpenter Remo Zimmerli.

Company at dinner used to be a good time for people to know each other, bond or just talk. Then came around the smartphone, and effectively destroyed every dinner conversation etiquette ever. We won’t give up our smartphones during meals even knowing fully well what must be done, but perhaps a tablecloth ordering us to do that could make a difference.
