Consumers might sometimes be surprised by a brand going a little bit out of its element and recognition, but if brands were to go full crazy into products far from their identity, things would be way crazier(?). iDiot: A Short to Celebrate the Greatest Idiot Box Ever

The television has been universally regarded as the “idiot box” ever since it came into being. It sits so firm on the title, we seem to have forgotten the new, improved idiot box that rolled around: the smartphone. iDiot is a very cute animation that takes a dig at our smartphone addiction, more specifically, the iPhone that we all heart so much. Cute robots parade a world, enjoying their smartphones, and doing, well, the dumb things we love to do with our smartphones. The video environment was created using cardboards and the robots come from a real Japanese robot kit. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go stare at my smartphone screen.
