The paintings are a mix of the alien and the known, showing objects that are on the whole unknown, but have several elements the viewer can recognize and consider. Many of the structures in the paintings come from the artist seeing buildings that were forgotten or ignored. When brought to the canvas, these structures get layers of vegetation and assorted elements to take on a new look.
