Poor Man’s Bumblebee is a Pretty Cool Transformer
Gigantic robot Bumblebee we see in Transformers movies is quite badass, and transforms into a super cool Camaro. Yet, he wouldn’t hold a light to this guy. This one doesn’t have the same badass look, transforms into something that looks like a toy Escalade, and won’t be shooting bad guys with massive cannons.
But hey, he’s real and looks pretty darn good, without spending millions. Also, he can actually transform and move, which is a huge plus. The transformer here is Joslyn Paige, a 28 year old from New Orleans. Paige says he spent between $700 and $800 to create the costume.
