French artist Laurent La Gamba shows a penchant for disappearing, and making things disappear with the magic of camouflage art. People wear astonishingly impressive camouflage costumes created by the artist, and then nearly disappear into their surroundings. Many of these would not have been clearly visible, had their face not been popping out.
Alas, we also live in a world of comparisons, so Gamba’s art would obviously be compared with the camouflage art of Liu Bolin, and he seems to be slightly more thorough, and the models in the photograph don’t look so sad.
