The 2011 Wiesmann Spyder design study

At the Geneva Motor Show, Wiesmann showcased this design study, a two-seater convertible sports car with styling that would melt a purist’s heart. Weighing less than 2200 pounds, the car gets 420 horses from a 4.0-l V8, allowing it to zoom from zero to 60mph in under four seconds. Top speed for the design study is 180mph. Wiesmann currently does not have any clear plans of putting the car into production, but if it does go into production, that will happen only by 2012.
