Grifo IR10 concepts follow the line of pure Italian supercars

Grifo IR10 concepts seek to remain true to the form of “pure Italian super cars” that ruled the roads in the ’70s. Created as successors the Iso Grifo, the concepts carry the name IR10 as the last Grifos to reach the road were IR8 and IR9. The concepts from designers Davide Panarella, Luigi Santibacci, and Patrick Sincich include the Iso IR10 coupe and the IR10 Spider. Both concepts strive to be true to their lineage, but manage to include modern technology into the mix as well.

The IR10 is a two-seater coupe powered by a 6.2-l engine sourced from Corvette, while two electric motors are also included to reduce the car’s carbon footprint and increase its fuel efficiency. The design is sporty and sleek, and prominently features the “Griffon” symbol of the car. Grifo IR10 has air-vents on the front and the sides. Air-vent at the front is large to highlight the car’s sporty look and give it a more dynamic profile.

Interiors are of-course done in Italian style with soft-touch finishes and hand-embroidered Griffon logo on the headrests. The IR10 spider also toes the line of the coupe, with the soft-top going out of view in just 20 seconds. Both concepts utilize light materials like carbon fiber and aluminum in their construction.
