A World In LEGO: Avatar’s Pandora Gets A LEGO Life

A few days ago, we got to see the Thanator beast from Avatar in LEGO, turns out, the beast is not alone and there’s an entire LEGO Pandora for it to roam. Many of these LEGO Avatar versions are sourced from older Lego sets like Toy Story and Halo. Though I’d like to see the older ones intact, the new Pandora form isn’t bad at all. Knitted Lego Minifig Is Oh-So-Cute

Lego minifigs are cool little toys, and this one is one slightly “different” cool toy. It won’t report for the conventional minifig duties, because the novelty factor for this one is that it is knit. Okay, here’s some wisdom on the minifig:

Some Assembly Required is a pattern that will enable you to make an adorable toy that can be taken apart and put together again. The head, torso, and legs are independent pieces, so you could make multiple pieces in different colors and they would be interchangeable.

I’ve included a tutorial on boxes and edges so you can make nice crisp corners. The tutorial isn’t necessary to make the toy, but it may be helpful.

The stuff is for sale on Ravelry, and it looks like only members of the site can see the page. Though the cost looks like $6, anyways, here’s the link to the page.

LEGO iPhone Dock Is Geeky and Bricky

This LEGO iPhone dock is cool, not just because someone cramped plastic bricks to hold the phone, but also because it is quite functional. This dock rotates to allow you to turn the phone from landscape to portrait mode when desired, plus it looks cool. The dock is the work of Steven Combs.
