HP and Marchesa Build a Limited Edition Line of Swarovski Encrusted Laptops

HP may have plans for saying goodbye to its PC and laptop business, but while it is there it apparently has every intention to continue its work in the field. HP and Marchesa have teamed to create a line of limited edition laptops encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Obviously that makes these laptops all about bling and exclusivity, but HP has added a saving grace by announcing that these special laptops will be auctioned off, and all proceeds will go for charity. And as we all know, charity makes vanity a good thing.

It is available in two flavors, the SpaceBook 17 i5 priced at $2295, and the SpaceBook 17 i7 priced at $2595. gScreen is now accepting pre-orders for the SpaceBook.

Fujitsu hasn’t really spilled details on the projectors, but I don’t see any tears dropping for the loss of optical drives in a few models.

Valentine notebook concept disguises all its modern tech under the garb of a typewriter. But that’s no ordinary typewriter either, it is the famous Vilentine compact typewriter invented and designed by Ettore Sottsass and Perry King in 1969. The notebook concept on its part, has a flexible display where the paper would have gone in a typewriter.
