Impossible Architectural Collages

We think the world would be a better place if we actually had buildings made into the shape of Filip Dujardin‘s photographs. Granted, they are a wee bit architecturally impossible to really exist, and would potentially create quite a commotion if they came into existence for real, but they are totally mind-blowing. Filip created the set using the photographs of real buildings around Ghent, Belgium and worked his way through photoshop and digital collaging techniques to come up with the set he calls “Fictions.”

Iconic Photographs With Their Subjects Removed

There are photographs that define human history and events, and are easily recognized by most people on the planet. What would these iconic photographs be like if they had their human subjects removed? Not so iconic anymore, and not that easily recognizable either. Visual artist Pavel Maria Smejkal created these images by photoshopping the subjects out of those famous images, leaving empty landscapes in their wake.
