Birds, as everyone is well aware, like to stay on top of the fashion line. You get to see them in fantastic colors and impressive style. Well, that apparently wasn’t just cutting it, so birds have now gone the route of some real funky hairstyles, several of which are inspired by the way humans treat their hair.

Chinese artist Hong Chun Zhang works on the very excruciatingly detailed Chinese Ink Painting process, that requires a very precise method and process. According to the artist, working with ink on a rice paper is “unforgiving.” The process and steps must be followed for a painting to come through.
Hair studies by Brittany Schall is a set of drawings/portraits that keep their focus on hair. So much that while we see the subject’s hair in its full glory, other parts of their body, including their faces are all washed away. Interestingly enough, with only the outlines visible, and the focus towards the hair, it looks mesmerizing and quite an interest catcher.
Seeing how chest hair trumps facial hair in manliness, and fur is the loved fashion accessory, it makes perfect sense that a freaking fur coat be crafted out of male chest hair. It took designers working with millions of strands of hair about 200 hours to weave the manly fur coat, commissioned by dairy firm Arla to coincide with launch of their new male oriented drink – Wing-co.
Getting weird hairstyles to make a statement is one thing, and having a giant hairy spider on the head is totally different. But they do manage to catch attention, which I suppose is all advertising campaigns want. Philippines based advertising agency TBWA/Santiago Mangada Puno came up with these scary spider and lizard hairdos for a hair gel campaign.
Artistic Patrícia Póvoa created this set of minimalistic posters by representing some of the best known figures by their famously well known hairstyles. We equally like the title of the series, “Copyrighted Famous Hairs.”
We’ve just come to know that human could be a very important raw material that has been ignored for thousands of years. Time to clean up the drains chums, and find the precious raw material that can easily be made into a leather-like flexible bioplastic. It is soft, it is flexible, and it is environmentally friendly.

Florida barber/artiste Radames Perez loves to give her clients a take of art on their heads, if they are willing to have their heads turned into masterpieces. The geeky theme makes it all the more lovely.
