Look Your Picture Perfect Self in Frame Chairs

Dazzling with a very ornate design, Frame Chair by sibling designers Georgi and Petar Slokoski keeps you in picture perfect looks. It is a chair housed inside what would be a three dimensional picture frame. You might perhaps even use it as a little sanctuary. The framework is handcrafted wood colored or plated in gold or silver, the upholstery is velvet.

Magnetic Table Uses Some Sense in Floating

Magnetic levitation is quite an idea. Mix it up with furniture, and you’ve got some real lookers on there. There is just one big problem with most of the magnetic levitation themed tables we have seen: there’s nothing to keep them in place. The last thing anyone probably wants is to bump into the table and see it flying off. A better approach to the idea is what makes us appreciate the Float Table.

So Long Chewbacca: Long Wool Sofa Looks Like It Came From Wookie Fur

This sofa it seems, was built on the blood and tears of wookies whose fur was used to cover and upholster the sofa. Too bad nobody protects wookie rights, we should have a PETW or something that at least pretends to save wookies. We’d also need someone to differentiate between wookie fur and Icelandic sheepskin wool, because they look pretty similar to us.

Hammock Chair

Goodness of a hammock meets the chair in the very interesting Cradle chair by British designer Benjamin Hubert. It includes a cushion for seating backed by a net structured like a hammock, so the chair overall becomes half a hammock. One where you sit rather than plain lay down. The hammock part uses a non elastic textile so the chair has the right tension to support the body.

Quiet Chair is a Place of Zen

Quiet by London based studio TILT has been designed to be a chair that is also a personal space. It exhibits these qualities in the photographs where we see a person peacefully sitting inside the chair and quite shielded from the surrounding environment. The pentagonal shape is intended to feel like a cocoon, so a person could sit and relax inside, having some “me time.”

Coffin Couch

Fit for several undead, vampire ways, the coffin couch with its plush violet interior and hardwood exterior presents an excellent setting for the regal ways of the classic vampires. It folds into a coffin when the owner wishes to take on the full appearance of a coffin to go along the vampire legend. Made to order, the couch costs $5500.

Rocking In The Arms of a Skeleton Sounds Relaxing

Rocking chairs are sturdy, relaxing, and capable of making you shit your pants once you realize you’ve been sitting on the laps of a huge, unnaturally strong skeleton. Imagine if the jaws of the skull moved while rocking the chair; infinitely more creepiness added! Moving to the important, relevant stuff, the chair happens to be from the last century, probably made in the likeness of a mid 19th century Russian example. It went on auction recently and sold for an amount of $3120.
