Director Jon Favreau unveiled the Cowboys & Aliens theatrical trailer at Americal Idol. Scheduled to be released on July 29, the movie stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde, and presumably some cowboys and aliens as well. Presence/ absence of cow abducting aliens in the movie is still a matter of debate.

This borders on the weird, but the UN actually does have an office for Outer Space Affairs. Malaysian-born astrophysicist Dr. Mazlan Othman is now our ambassador towards aliens, and as such will have a lot of work to do if we come into contact with an alien civilization. Also, we suggest she ask those aliens to get over their cow abduction fetish. Seriously, not cool, alien bro. On another note, the office will also deal with issues like taking down asteroids that pose a threat to Earth.
