Artist Embroiders ‘Sculpture’ On Her Own Skin

Artist Eliza Bennett‘s self-inflicted “sculpture” is definitely not the prettiest thing to look at, and in fact it is quite gross. Eliza used her own palm as a canvas and created embroidery patterns by putting thread through her skin. chicken skin teddy bear by victor ivanov

Teddy Bears are meant to be cute, cuddly, and when you’re done with them, you friggin bite their heads off and call it a meal. Artist Victor Ivanov stitched together chicken skin to make the creepy teddy bear that for all intent could follow the path of Frankenstein’s monster. For its part, this is just a regular teddy bear, who got chicken skin sewed all over it for the freaky look. Although one could argue that this one looks fairly less creepy than the artist’s previous chicken skin teddy.

Artist Works by Squirting Paint From His Eyes

Artist Leandro Granato makes his tear ducts do art. The process starts with him squirting some paint up his nose, and then squirting it out through his eyes. The squirted paint falls on a canvas, and there you have it, art. Well he does arrange the canvas to have the paint squirt where he wants it, or at least the general area. To ensure that the squirting paint doesn’t damage his eyes, he created a “special formula” that goes easy on the eyeballs.
