A Cue Made For the Knight of the Pool Table

Playing pool is serious business, and it augurs well to be prepared for the occasion. Intimidator Masterpiece Cue is being called the most expensive cue in the world at $150,000. A look at it, and it isn’t hard to figure out where that price tag comes from. When the cue is not on the table, it rests in a case that is styled like a medieval weapon, one whose likeliness you would expect to see in a video game.

1965 Shelby GT 350 Pool Table

Cars from the golden age of muscle cars have the propensity of looking great. While we maintain that the best place for these cars are roads, we guess they can always choose to spread some goodness around. Like in the shape of this superb pool table, which probably wouldn’t have been afforded with another look had it not been sitting on top a 1965 Shelby GT 350.

Cuelight Interactive Pool Table System

Playing pool becomes a light show with this interactive pool system. CueLight makes use of an overhead projector along with a ball tracking system to render the movement of balls in real time and give teeth to the 60fps animation. The overall effect that this puts on the pool table is intriguing that can be further customized with user selected themes.

Knokkers brings billiards and bowling together

What else could one ask for? Bowling and billiards have been finally brought together in the name of Knokkers. Only, there is no cue and the balls are bowling balls, which we’ll say makes the game more fun. The size of the pool table has been increased by four times to accomodate for the new game style and for the player actually playing on the table. The game is played with rules very similar to standard 8-ball pool, though they’ve been changed slightly to accomodate for the size.
