Showing why he’s named “The Toastman” Maurice Bennet used thousands of colorful pieces of toast to create a large mosaic of Marilyn Monroe. Commissioned by a Shanghai shopping mall, Bennet used 6000 pieces and the help of a few volunteers to create the mosaic that will be put on display at the Xintiandi Mall in Shanghai.

Immortalizing the famous picture of Marilyn Monroe in a larger than life version, sculptor Seward Johnson made this sculpture that stands at The Magnificent Mile in Chicago. At 26 feet tall, the statue takes its inspiration from a famous scene in the 1955 Billy Wilder film The Seven Year Itch.
