Coffee Table Balance Will Let Me Check Coffee Input

The balance coffee table prototype form Guus Oosterbaan looks like a little fun machine. It can carry up to 10 kilos of weight, and measures things placed on it. For a coffee addict like me, it could be a fun way to measure my coffee intake. I think it may not be very accurate for measuring single cups of coffee, but I may get a good reading with 10 odd cups up there. Oosterbaan is currently working on giving the table better looks.

A Mixture Of Water And Salt Could Be The Future Of Clean Energy

Doriano Brogioli of the University of Milan Bicocca in Monza, Italy has developed a new method which produces clean energy. As per Doriano when fresh water is mixed with salt, a reaction takes place to maintain the salinity equilibrium producing energy which could be harnessed and transformed into clean energy. This new technique opens new aspects of developing technologies which could help produce clean energy for a cleaner, greener planet. Though this technique is still under research and development, but we sincerely hope that such clean techniques are developed and used as soon as possible to produce energy.
