Phtotographer James Mollisson‘s series The Disciples revolves around concert goers and the concerts they are attending. For the series, the photographer visited several concerts to see the “different tribes” of people that attended them.
Fans often like to emulate their favorites, and a concert is a perfect place to see fans gathered in the appearance and likeliness of the star they have come to see and hear. Of course, the majority of people would be dressed conventionally, but the color is added by these few who have dressed up for the show, and give title to the series as The Disciples.
