Microsoft has announced it new gaming console, the Xbox One. Rumors initially called it 720, but there you have it, that’s officially the Xbox One. the new console combines Xbox with Windows so you get a gaming platform with access to numerous applications like internet, TV and entertainment applications.
Kinect will get more sensitive and powerful to go with the new console, plus the Xbox Live gets a complete revamp with cloud integration. Word is, the One is not backwards compatible, so you can kiss the 360 games goodbye if you’re looking to upgrade. For the hardware specs, the Xbox One gets a 500GB hard drive, Bluray, Wifi connectivity, 8 Core CPU, HDMI in/out, and USB 3.0. The console is set to launch some time later this year.
