Cord hardware proposes creative solutions for the mess of cords
In our connected world, messy cords are everywhere. We may try to tuck them out of sight, but the bundled mess always stays. Boiler Design has come up with a set of interesting solutions that would make the mess somewhat more manageable. Wall Cleats are simple extensions to either side of the plug, that can neatly hold any excess wire, while also keeping the plug and socket close.
Covering plates can simply hide unsightly wall damage while keeping the appearance fluid. The most intriguing design however, has to be “Energy Savings.” This is your piggy bank socket in the wall, a simple modification to the electric coverplate turns it into a piggy bank; a standard junction box behind the plate holds the coins you put into the box.
