We do often get nostalgic of the good old arcade, and perhaps some would get nostalgic enough to tie a miniature version up on their wrists like a watch. The watch takes the shape of a tiny arcade, showing time analog-style with a combination of dials and space rocks.
Surface Tension Arcade Tables are meant to give your conventional coffee table a kick straight out the door, and replace them with something that is way more fun. The arcade and entertainment systems are hand built with a layer of polished wood veneer forming much of the table, with the arcade gaming system placed neatly inside it.
Barrels and Donkey Kong go hand in hand, which makes things well suited for a tabletop Donkey Kong arcade game on a wine barrel. Joel Griffin Dodd, builder of the arcade, intended on having a fun setup where you can play and have beer and drinks.
Win on a Beercade, get a beer, it’s a win-win scenario. Beercade has been handmade by McKinney for the Big Boss Brewing Company. The game is a custom 2D fighting game called The Last Barfighter. Two players get to battle it out for three rounds, at the end of which the winner is rewarded with beer in their cup; just like all battles and competitions should end.

You drag your unwilling self to the machine, throw the clothes in, and wait for the job to be done while anxiously twiddling the thumbs, because really, there isn’t anything else to do. An MA student at the Kingston University in London has come to our rescue with this washing machine that is also an arcade game.
Atari Arcade is the company’s take on the arcade, a la the iPad. If you are going to play classic games on the tablet, you might as well play them the way they were intended to be, and enjoy the arcade style. Atari Arcade Duo Powered Joystick does all wonders of the arcade on the iPad, minus the coins, plus modern world tech. The device isn’t for sale yet, but the vendors claim it will be available “soon.”

One of the most successful arcade games of all time, Space Invaders has now made its comeback to the arcade. Only this time, it has come in a tiny package. Made by YouTube user vcoleiro1, the arcade can virtually play any game off a Game Boy Advance cartridge, but the designing and patterns on the arcade tell the story for Space Invaders.

You can get the arcade to run your favorite games simply by installing them on to the emulator, and all it needs is a donor machine with a 10.1-inch display and some adhesive. Ready to be shipped out this month, the case is priced at $349.

The super powerful consoles of today still can’t beat the pleasure of playing 8-bit games like Pacman and Super Mario.
