Dazzling Pavement Lights the Way Towards Energy Free Lighting
Starpath looks like it came straight from some wonderland fantasy universe. Its origins however, are much more modest, which in no way changes the fact that the path itself looks absolutely stunning. Developed by UK based company Pro-Teq, the path is basically a glow in the dark product that can be applied directly to a pavement or surface.
It absorbs energy during the day, and glows as darkness falls to create an energy free illuminated pathway. To make it more practical, the material is also water-resistant and non-slip. For its debut application, STARPATH currently covers 140 meters in the Christ’s Pieces Park in Cambridge.
