The 3-D printed T8 Spiderbot has incredibly realistic movements that are guided by a network of wires and 26 servo motors. This network of wires is kept hidden by a 3D printed shell that works to enhance the life-like scariness of the terrible insect.
If you are brave enough to look at it close enough, you’ll find a gigantic robotic eye staring back of you, and the decided lack of hairiness to show this isn’t the real deal. It remains debatable if someone will manage enough guts to actually get that close.
For $1350, you can call this robotic spider your own, although that is a lot of money waiting to get squished in a fit of scared frenzy. Motions of the bot can be programmed and controlled through a remote wireless device.
