IUM Infinite USB Memory Device pairs your gadgets, adds tons of coolness
The IUM Infinite USB Memory Device is cool, and awesome. It may not look that part, but we’re sold on its functionality. The wireless USB dongle is capable of streaming files from a paired computer to a number of devices/gadgets like game consoles, HDTV, photo frame, digital media adapter, or Blu-ray player. The transferred files appear just like normal files stored in a USB flash drive, and funcioning of the USB dongle requires the installation of Infinite Portal PC application. This will just get better when USB 3 hits stores. A limitation is that it can only be paired to one host PC at a time, but that shouldn’t really be a huge problem. No word on pricing yet, but it is scheduled for a launch on March 1.
