Shrinking Jug Keeps Milk Fresh For A Longer Time



The Shrinking Jug concept is an entry for the James Dyson Awards Competition, and a clever one at that. The idea behind the concept is that the main reason for milk going sour is its contact with air, if the contact is reduced, milk can stay on longer. To that end, as the quantity of the milk in the jug decreases, the jug’s height can be proportionately reduced to decrease the length of air column above the milk, and so keeping the milk fresh for a longer time!
