Kettle uses a light bulb for making tea

The incandescent light bulb is breathing its last, and this kettle is the designers’ tribute to the light bulb and its death. A 100 Watt incandescent bulb is mounted on a wooden base, and covered with a glass jug that separates the bulb from the water. Heat from the bulb is used to make tea. It doesn’t make the water boil, but it does heat it to temperatures up to 90 degrees Centigrade, which is sufficient for making tea.
