Photography memes are apparently all the rage this season. The latest one is Japanese school boys playing imaginary games of Quidditch, and they do it well enough to make Harry Potter jealous. Apparently it started off with Japan’s largest bulletin board 2ch, where an image of players from a high school baseball team enjoying Quidditch went viral. Soon more jumped in, and now there are plenty images to show.
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been by way of magic, or rather by way of great labor and talent, been recreated in this replica made entirely out of Lego pieces. Lego builder Alice Finch spent a lot of time studying details of the structure by reading the Potter books for details, the movies and even visited the movie set and castle for the purpose of having a clear view.
Artist DistantDream found inspiration in Harry Potter houses and their themes to come up with these Hogwarts inspired couture dresses. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin all find their fashion side and taste in these conceptual dress sketches that could probably make a decent show in contemporary circles.

We hardly spend much time without Disney Princesses appearing in one form or the other. This time around, the princesses have taken a trip to the world of magic and dressed up as students from Hogwarts.

These fan art illustrations imagine Harry Potter characters in the world of manga. We will take this moment to imagine how very weird and awkward a Potter manga could be. Or, how awesome it could be. And somehow we can’t really find good in these cute characters, even though there is nothing visibly wrong with them.
