Japanese designer Akihiro Mizuuchi has created this very, very desirable combination of LEGO and white, dark, and milk chocolate. Just imagine the possibilities!
Sometimes the story just writes itself. Here they are, the whiskey potato crisps/chips. They’ve got whiskey, they’ve got potato. What’s not to like? They’re haggis flavored, so that probably answers the last question. Even so, that’s a sacrifice we’re willing to make. No word on price or availability yet.
A twist on the 3D printer, the PancakeBot specializes in making delicious pancakes in custom shapes. The bot makes use of a squeeze bottle filled with pancake batter. A vacuum pump pushes out the batter and lets the bot draw these wondrous shapes.
Veggies don’t get enough love. On the other hand, one can hardly complain about that, seeing the way they look on the insides. It’s not bad, it’s just… a bit discomforting. Of course, if we push ourselves out of the meaningless prejudice, we realize it’s really cool.

NYC pastry chef Dominique Ansel has announced his new invention, an uber cool combo of milk, going straight into glasses made from chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shots, as he calls them, are molded, baked chocolate cookie dough intended for serving milk. Via Eater, BoingBoing
Playing on the now familiar theme of foodscapes, photographers Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman have captured fantastical landscapes made out of processed foods. Perhaps not in sheer scale, but in perception these food landscapes could give the wicked witch and her gingerbread cottage a run for her money.
