This satellite image of the earth creted by the European Space Agency paints a very unflattering picture of our planet. Don’t worry our home isn’t that ugly, the image is a model called geoid, which considers what our earth would look like if its shape was altered to make the pull of gravity equal at every point. The image was developed using data from Gravity and Ocean Circulation Explorer, or Goce satellite, which circles the earth in an orbit above 250 kilometers from the ground.
