It's All Random
Paper Jewelry isn’t something you’d expect to be durable, but Jeremy May’s Littlefly is all about jewelry made from books. Hundreds of sheets of paper from a book are laminated together and given shapes like rings, bracelets, even necklaces. Paper is carefully selected and removed from a book, and the piece of jewelry so created is reinserted in the same spot. We do appreciate the novelty involved, but thank you, we like our books readable.

Artist Thomas Allen uses old pulp fiction book covers and transforms them into unique three dimensional art. Inspiration for his work comes from pop-up books, but the work itself is quite unique, and done with interesting themes. More images after the jump.
