Apocalypse Bunker: Probably a Solid Investment for the Future

It’s a smart man that stays prepared, and a very smart one that stays prepared for the apocalypse. Even better, if the apocalypse bunker is styled and classy. This apocalypse bunker is situated in the mountains of Colorado, with a greek isle interior theme; there are rooms for sleeping, recreation and dining. Of course it does have standard elements to keep the occupants well stocked to face the apocalypse. These include generators, water tanks and a battery operated radio. All that class does come at a cost, this one is $589000.

Sons of Chaos: A Short Based in a Post-Apocalyptic World

Apocalypse Survival Kit

The last thing you want in the event of an apocalypse is to be unprepared, as you fight to save precious little resources and to defend yourself. And frankly, those zombies would be quite a bugger in that scenario. This kit from Gerber has apparently seen some screen time on “The Walking Dead” and includes seven tools that would come in handy in the event of a zombie uprising. The kit includes machetes, an ax, and knives. Costs $349.

Robot survival suit will keep us safe from the nuclear apocalypse

Hong Kong based designer Kacey Wong has come up with a robot that will save us all from the nuclear apocalypse. Made to hold one person, the robot is made out of lead for safety against radiation. The suit can also serve as a mobile home, transforming into a bed and includes solar panels for juicing up electrical devices. Yes, the Doomsday robot will save us from the nuclear apocalypse, but god forbid, a robot apocalypse happens first.

Since the world is ending anyway: Apocamix shows disaster end time scenes

Hollywood is abundant with disaster movies, apocalypse movies, and Robin Williams movies. Since we already know that the world is ending on May 21, we might as well have a look at the possibilities of the upcoming apocalypse. Apocamix from Eclectic Method is a selection of some of the best disaster end times scenes, probably made so we can choose the preferred method of the apocalypse.

Post Natural apocalyptic urban landscapes

We’ve seen our fair share of rendered apocalyptic landscapes, and yet we find freshness in this exhibition by Italian artist Giacomo Costa. Named Post Natural, the exhibition shows a world with tall, eerie trees, while the abandoned buildings quietly fall into the backdrop.

Imagining the world in a great flood

It is kind of a paradox that though none of us wants to face trouble or destruction, we are kind of awed by the apocalypse and images of the apocalypse. This collection of images takes a look at the world in the grasp of a great flood. Not included, the images of the top secret ark that I keep stashed in the bath tub.

Renderings show cities in ruins

These renderings from Jenovah Art give us a look at some of the world’s busiest, bustling centers, but all in ruins. It is almost weird to imagine how some of the busiest places in the world might be, if they were abandoned and left to themselves.
