Veggies don’t get enough love. On the other hand, one can hardly complain about that, seeing the way they look on the insides. It’s not bad, it’s just… a bit discomforting. Of course, if we push ourselves out of the meaningless prejudice, we realize it’s really cool.
In Westeros, you don’t need pickup lines. Even so, it might be helpful to have a few handy, you know, just in case. GarthAlgar was good enough to create a set of pickup lines that would be especially suited for Westeros, and for Game of Thrones characters.
Austria-based British adventure, cave, and travel photographer Robbie Shone often finds himself in remote areas of the world in China, Papua New Guinea, Borneo, the Alps and Crete. It is in these areas where Shone has photographed some of the deepest, largest, and longest cave systems in the world.
Oil Pumps, pumpjacks, or more appropriately, Nodding Donkeys as they are locally called can be seen across oil rich Texas. Often, the donkeys will find themselves decorated with cutouts. Austin based photographer Ben Sklar had been seeing the pumpjacks for a long time, and never thought of them beyond the role of tourist snapshots.
We love dogs, but some breeds get to carry the tag of being “too aggressive.” Pit Bulls are one breed that often get labeled as aggressive and dangerous, and often have to pay for this reputation. Several of these dogs end up in shelters, labeled as “bully breeds.” Photographer Douglas Sonders is on a PR mission to remove the unjust tag from 14 breeds, that include the Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers.
Palcohol is a product that has reduced alcohol from its usual liquid state into a powdered form. All you have to do is sprinkle the powder in a drink, they even recommend putting it on your food, and you are good to go. It is an interesting idea, and while you might see the vast number of uses you could put it to, you could as easily see the vast number of abuses powdered alcohol could be put to.
Say hello to CafeCat, the cute marshmallow cat that goes into your coffee cup and floats adorably at the surface. Available in chocolate and vanilla flavors, the cats will eventually dissolve in the coffee, but not before making a cute appearance and impression. Hungarian photographer Flora Borsi (previously) takes a humor filled look at the little things you could do in life if photoshop tools existed beyond the virtual world. Her series Photoshop in Real Life delves on the things you could do, if you had the magic of photoshop to command. Interestingly unlike similar concepts, this series is not all about improving looks, but mostly includes a certain sense of humor that the virtual tools would bring to the real world.
