Maserati Alfieri is a concept cooked up to celebrate a hundred years of the brand. The car carries the name of Alfieri Maserati, a prominent automotive engineer in his time, and one of the founders of the marque.
What good is tilted furniture? We ask. For starters, it looks pretty good, and if you photograph it well enough, it looks even better. Seen here is the “60” series from Georgian design studio XYZ Integrated Architecture. The simple name apparently comes from the angle at which the furniture bends along their vertical axis.
Red Bull gives you wings, but it adds superhero powers to those wings. Well, usually. Sometimes you don’t get the power to fly, and you could end up as Batman (which would be awesome), or Aquaman (which would suck). In the latter case, you just accept your destiny because fate is cruel. Redbull Superheroes from Diego Fonseca present minimalist superhero styling on the classic cans of RedBull. Well, they have no RedBull logo or insignia, but the shape of the cans is identification enough.
Lotus is going the way of the motorcycle. And if this concept is any indication, they are doing it right. The recently unveiled Lotus C-01 is a concept from designer Daniel Simon, and includes quite a bit of the sci-fi and strong appearance you would expect the designer of the light cycles from Tron: Legacy to bring to the table.
Lying down and gazing at the stars would be awesome, except the trouble of having to deal with the discomfort of an open space and lack of Hogwarts-like enchanted roof. Thankfully, there’s always a synthetic way to recreate the magic of nature. In this case, it is the Cosmos Bed.
Selecting a tie to wear every day, or buying ties every so often can be a bit of a daunting task for several people. The iTie concept just makes the role of the tie way easier. The electronic tie has a screen that functions as your classic tie and also allows you to create customized designs. As an extra, the concept tie would allow you to check your mail, messages, and use IM applications like Skype.
Speaking of general wisdom, a space of 221 square feet would likely not be enough for comfortable living. This tiny house has dimensions of just 8′ by 6′, and yet manages to pack a lot of living.

French artist JC Debroize‘s typographic series “The Human Type” shows a font with a human touch. The alphabets all possess human skin, and are decorated with human features like hair and eyes.
Evolution door by Austrian designer Klemens Torggler is a slider that opens and closes quite spectacularly, almost behaving like a sheet of paper. On a slight touch, the four paneled Evolution door behaves like the shrinking violet/mimosa and quietly shuts or opens up. The door is based on the concept of rotating squares so it can move and slide without the use of tracks.
