We maintain that the life size lamps from Bizzotto are not creepy in the least, and are great for lighting by virtue of being human-styled and human size. Actually, we doubt they’d work for a home environment, but in the hands of a creative decorator, these things might have some substance. Also, the dramatic element might help things a bit.
Allow me to go into hyperbole here, this design has earned it. As warriors entered the Halls of Valhalla they’d hopefully be greeted with a motorcycle as powerful as this one, as part of some sort of an initiation program designed by Odin.
Designed by Debopam Das from Kolkata, India, the Valhalla concept is a heavy duty power cruiser that flaunts pure muscle, a bold stance and clean lines that help give it an aggressive look. In the words of Debopam, this is “one of those machines which separate the men from the boys.” Power for the cruiser comes from a 1700cc V-Twin DOHC plant that we see clearly in these renderings.
A whole lot of architecture concepts leave room for vertical gardens these days as clean, environmentally friendly options. But apparently, vertical gardens are moving out of the way even before they could fully be realized, because frankly, who’s going to care for some hanky-panky vertical garden when you have an entire vertical forest to look forward to.
Over time, a lot of us have adapted to the wonderful art of sleeping at the desk, without ever letting the boss know. But God bless the wonderful boss who, though not yet known to exist, lets the employees take hearty naps without a single worry in the world. We doubt a corporation would ever do something so awesome, unless of course if the idea is to hold employees captive in the facility.
The simple matte black packaging does really seem to go well with the concept of Coke Zero. The can is an independent design by zomatao for a contest at Jovoto. We aren’t likely to see this on store shelves ever, but as an idea, this thing rocks. Of course, if you really need to have Coca Cola bottles you would never open, Daft Punk have you covered. But first make sure you have like, really deep pockets.
We’ve all noticed days when time seems to fly by and days when time comes to have come to a standstill. This clock seems to be for the former occasion, and it really does give the feel of time running at full speed. Sadly, there is no way to make time slow down on occasions when you really want to.
Technology, f*ck yeah! SMELLIT aroma system is set to add another dimension to our gaming and movie experience. The system will emanate odors corresponding to movies and video games, allowing you to experience the situation in a more “deeper” sense.
If you are a professional photographer, or even if you take photography seriously, you’d want to keep your hands steady and have a good camera in your hands. If pranks are what you are looking for, something unusual will do, like this camera concept that is shaped like a slingshot.
Biotic Arch is a design for a environmentally friendly skyscraper. And this thing loves the environment; no, seriously, it just loves the environment. The skyscraper takes care of its energy needs by generating power from bio, solar and wind. Its additional layer of greenery in the plant-filled facade, spaces and vertical gardens helps it trap carbon and probably make the world a better place. The structure has been designed by Vincent Callebaut for the skyline of Taichung, Taiwan.
Toyota Supra was one of the best coupes that rolled in its time. Affordable, yet with a performance that could put supercars to shame. The car has been out of production for a while now, but many automobile enthusiasts probably will enjoy its return to the streets.
