Love Him Like You Love Yourself

Love Him Like You Love Yourself

A good concept surely goes a long way in advertising. The well choreographed photographs show dogs and cats with a human touch, asking onlookers to Love Him Like You Love Yourself. The slogan and the campaign have been created by Paris based ad agency Leg for Biocanina. It underscores the idea of taking good care of your pets, and not neglecting their needs, or the care they need.

Superheroes as Manatees

Superheroes as Manatees

superheroes as manatees

If we imagined superheroes as manatees, we probably wouldn’t be doing the extremely good looking manatees any favor, but superheroes would get to show their skills a bit better. I have no idea how they would do this, but we’re sure someone could cook something up; probably a world where Aquaman is relevant. The illustrations are the work of artist Joel Micah Harris.

Animal Sounds in Different Languages

Animal Sounds in Different Languages

animal sounds in different languages by james chapman

Humans speak a lot of different languages. It would only be logical that animals also speak differently. For example, a Korean horse would speak different than an English horse. A phony lesson in animal linguistics aside, animal sounds in different languages obviously have different words attached to them.

Jobs that don’t interfere with their work, don’t need them to take on a new persona, and also let them do their superhero thingy on pleasure.

It is Movember, But Why Do We See Bearded Disney Princesses?

bearded disney princesses

Movember is great, but we can’t really decide if having bearded Disney princesses for the occasion is all that good. They aren’t sporting a stubble either, but lush beards that could be better than their hair. Aerial kind of looks like she has been in Cast Away, Tiana could be a dude, and Pocahontas is probably the quintessential wise dude who only speaks in riddles. The illustrations are the work of Adam Ellis.

Eyes Hard At Work

Eyes Hard At Work

Those eyes are wide open and hard at work, even better, the visual candy is delicious. The images were created by creative studio Saddington Baynes for an advertising campaign by 5 Gum. Characters seen in the eye are living within the muscle fibers of the iris to keep the pupil open, as a nod to the idea of “senses are heightened” to go along with the company’s ad slogan of Stimulate Your Senses.

Famous Car Illustrations by Nicolas Bannister

Famous Car Illustrations by Nicolas Bannister

car illustrations by nicolas bannister

French illustrator Nicolas Bannister has a series of intriguing pop culture car illustrations. All illustrations have a seemingly same composition and style, with the car taking the main platform, and the relevant characters showing up as distant figures or silhouettes in the background of the illustration. The set covers a good population of famous popular culture cars, and manages to keep them in their own universe, even with similar styles of illustration.
