Gentlemen, this is your cue to drool. Ducati Monster Diesel has been designed by fashion stylists at Diesel led by the company’s founder Renzo Rosso himself. The motorcycle with the looks to kill for/ die for is based on Ducati Monster 1100 EVO.
Works of Italian designer Davide Panarella, the Seapower 750 GT, and its slightly shorter cousin the 650 GT are all set to ride the waves. Both hard keel boats are set to be marketed and manufactured by Italy based Seapower. While the 650 lives a simpler life being an evolution of the 550 GT, a previous design by Seapower, the 750 GT seeks to go a slightly different way.
Fighter jets and aircrafts have something of a glamorous life, but once they are out of the air they sit rotting in some ‘graveyard’ probably reminiscing the days gone by. The Arizona desert houses one huge cemetery like this, but the planes there have some hope of salvation with the Boneyard Project.
Another splattering of sexy from the Geneva Motor Show, the Giugiaro Brivido Concept is a hybrid running on a supercharged 3.0-l V6 pumping out 360hp working with an electric motor and mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Brivido goes from zero to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 171 mph. Quite impressive, but lets face it, our materialistic leanings go towards looking at its beautiful body with eyes full of lust.
Concepts generally have the leeway of going past the accepted and the pragmatic to don the feathers of imagination and take a big leap. So concept cars can be really amazing; an idea that stands true for nearly all marques. Things get a bit different when you’re dealing with a Lamborghini though. The raging bull has such amazing cars that you really have to push the boundaries of imagination.
Displayed at the Geneva Motor Show, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is the roadster version of the Veyron Super Sport. The topless version gets its power from the same 8.0-liter W16 engine employing four turbochargers to drop 1,184bhp of raw power and 1106 lb-ft of torque.
With all the ongoing automobile glory at the Geneva Motor Show, famous Italian coachbuilders Bertone also decided to chip in the amazing car lineup with the Nuccio Concept. The concept car is a homage to the company’s founder, Giovanni Bertone and takes its name from his nickname. Power for the sleek, futuristic looking concept comes from a 4.3-liter V8 chipping out an impressive 480hp.
We’ve got quite a few posts about cars today, but they’re all so cool that it doesn’t quite seem unbalanced. What you see right here is Mercedes pulling off the invisibility trick on its F-Cell vehicle.
At the Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini dropped the top off the Aventador to reveal a car that is so utterly sexy, and so surprisingly beautiful, it could be mistaken to be a concept. This is the production Lamborghini Aventador J. It uses the engine as the Aventador to power itself, a 6.5-l V12 motor that churns out 700hp.
The Batmobile is one of the hottest cars in town, one that most of us easily identify and like. So we don’t really blame designers if it seems they picked up a few cues from Batman’s ride. Allessian concept by Slovak designer Ivan Venkov apparently wanted to be the batmobile.
