Gearing up for the Frankfurt Motor Show, Ferrari has just introduced the 458 Speciale. An exterior designed in collaboration with Pinninfarina, the Speciale will have a boosted performance and “Active Aerodynamics” that are set to be a standard across Ferrari’s future lineup. Power comes from a naturally aspirated V8 ever with an output of 605hp that takes the car from a standing start to 62mph in just three seconds.

Handpresso is a little coffee maker built for your car. Providing you not only with your dose of caffeine in the car, but some pretty time savings for the daily commute. It fits in your car’s cup holder and uses 16 bars of pressure to crank out your coffee, while drawing power from the car’s 12V outlet. Costs ~$200.
Taiwanese chef Huang Mingbo is a master with preparing food, and apparently with making good use of the lefotvers as well. At one of his lectures in Fuzhou city two years ago, he used leftover lobsters from the meals to sculpt motorcycles that seemingly go very well with the color and style of motorcycle looks.
Cadillac has unveiled its latest flagship luxury concept, the Elmiraj coupe. The concept, as you can see, has a very smooth, somewhat futuristic type shape. It does stick to the expectations of a Cadillac with a 500 hp engine and 500 lb-ft of torque coming from a 4.5L Twin Turbo V8. Cadillac says the Elmiraj is part of an ongoing development project for future models, while also adding that the concept car could very easily lend itself to production, with only a few changes.
Cars from the golden age of muscle cars have the propensity of looking great. While we maintain that the best place for these cars are roads, we guess they can always choose to spread some goodness around. NeuTron by Parker Brothers Concepts is an electric bike molded into a very futuristic shape reminiscent of the Tron universe. It may not be as funky as a real lightcycle, but for a functional electric bike, NeuTron is quite a badass. The street legal motorcycle has a top speed of 100 mph and can go 80 miles on its battery.
A futuristic film needs a futuristic car. Audi rose to the challenge for the upcoming sci-fi film Ender’s Game and cooked up a car that would go with the future world as presented in the screen adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s 1985 novel. The Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro is a purely virtual car that will exist only as a computer generated effect in the movie. However, even the virtual car has to look futuristic, and since Audi is the one making it, they wanted to preserve their design ideals for the car of the future.
Tesla Motors founder Elon Musk has unveiled his idea of super fast inland transport with the near-supersonic Hyperloop concept. In application, the concept would provide super fast travel between major cities, going at magnificent speeds going up to 760mph (1,220 km/h) to make distances irrelevant. Envisioned as a connection between Los Angeles and San Francisco, a Hyperloop pod would cover the 380 miles (610km) distance in just 30 minutes.
