The AK-47 is a formidable weapon, and as weapons are prone to do, it lends its hand in destruction. A group of 23 well known artists was brought together by London based photographer Bran Symondson to re-imagine decommissioned AK-47 assault rifles into things that would look apparently harmless and find way into the ‘AKA Peace’ exhibition. The exhibition was curated by artist Jake Chapman and produced by global peace campaign “Peace One Day”.
A simple set of illustrations inspired by Gestalt psychology, these images can be perceived in two or more ways. The work of Italian Artist Fabio D’ Altilia, the illusions will have you looking at the images multiple times to check what you saw, what you expected and what actually was there. It’s pretty fun actually.

A Mandala is an illustration that aids meditation to help one find the self, or in some cases, considered a representation of the universe itself. Technological mandala 02 by Leonardo Ulian is a beautiful Mandala representation using electronic and circuit components. It is super pleasing, aesthetically.
San Francisco based artist Lotan Kritchman has created this set of custom Munny Marvel Zombies, taking some characters from X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America and Spiderman, to give them all custom zombie makeovers in Munny doll form. Some of these are available for purchase.
Artist Nicolas Obery created superhero illustrations in his unique style, which is called Fantasmagorik. Looking at the sample, we can safely assume that style results in some pretty cool art with very hairy and Steampunkish subjects.
ZeFrank and his A Show community worked together to create this video that has inputs from 2601 people. Getting those much people to work together for a project like this is no easy feat, but they all managed to work together without spoiling the broth.
