Ladies From Comic Book Universe On The Covers of Justice Mag

A few months ago we saw superheroines posing for the covers of Justice Magazine, which we assume is very well read in all fictional universes. Seeing those that got to the covers, it is only fair to assume more ladies from the comic book universe would like a place on the covers too, including those cast in negative roles. The theme that connects all these ladies, is Justice. Yup, with corny lines like that I could write something for a buried article in Justice Magazine. Potatoes Want Their Rights In Peter Pink’s Very Edible World of Humor

Installations by artist Peter Pink show veggies in quite a world. It seems to be quite a world, except to the potatoes who have quite a long list of demands, the pink eyeglass wearing cucumbers who seem to be ruthless enforcers, and bananas and other edibles who apparently just don’t care. Some of these are made for fun, some carry messages and comments on current events. In any case, the humor stays, and so do the potatoes. Well, mostly. The Berlin based artist often describes himself as a “nonsense-maker.” Well, if this is nonsense, we don’t want any sense to ruin the humor.

Creative Street Art is Itself Only at Night

Street artist ABOVE created this piece of street art, after spending nearly seven months around London trying to find the right spot. In the day it looks fairly simple, but at night as the shadow of a street sign falls on the wall, it becomes the figure of a breakdancer balanced precariously on the shadow.

Harry Potter’s Birthday Gets Brand New Covers for the Books

Harry Potter turned thirty-three on July 31. To celebrate the birthday of the wizard, and that of author J.K. Rowling, the Potter books received updated covers from artist Kazu Kibuishi. Scholastic had commissioned the covers for the entire series for its fifteenth anniversary, and they have now all been revealed, the one for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows being revealed on July 31.
