This steam powered tank is controlled by a remote

A remote controlled, fully functional steam powered tank, now that’s the stuff Steampunk fiction is made of. The steam turret tank by Ian is based on a 1/16th scale Tamiya King Tiger die-cast model tank. Supplying steam to keep the tank in action is a 3.5″ diameter marine boiler. This miniature boiler is fully functional, and includes pressure gauges, safety valves, and a ceramic burner.

Ferrari F80 Supercar Concept

The Ferrari F80 Supercar is an independent concept from designer Adriano Raeli. The sweet looking car with an aggressive stance speaks power, and the designer made sure that power did show up in the supercar. Classic glass plate portraits made into modern day fine art

Classic glass plate portraits made into modern day fine art

Classic glass plate portraits have a look and charm of their own, and a touch of modern technology can see them going further than their original image. Match Candles are the best of candles and matchsticks

Match Candles are the best of candles and matchsticks

While this is still a concept, it would be fair to assume that China based designers Coor Design & Manufacture would like to see their design as a tangible product.

LG launches huge curved 4K OLED TV

LG launches huge curved 4K OLED TV

LG apparently wants to have the competition for breakfast (and lunch, and dinner), as we see from their new TV. The two televisions are not just gigantic screens, which, truth be told, nobody would bat an eye to. The impressive part is that they are both OLED screens. OLEDs can have a better display quality, showing blacker blacks, increased contrast, low flickering and blurring, and better reproduction of colors, when compared to conventional LEDs and LCDs.

Feast your eyes on these cakes being mass manufactured

Feast your eyes on these cakes being mass manufactured

We hardly give any attention to the process behind a mass produced cake. What a folly! Because the process is deliciously mesmerizing. Take a look at the machines producing them in action, and you realize how beautifully they work. Granted, these are machines and precision is expected from them, but it is still impressive to see how precise and accurate they are. Ah food robots, you’re the true friends of humanity. You are making us obese, but I’m sure there is no ulterior motive behind that.

Darth Vader Stove

It always pays to have some super creative amenities about the house, and one that can heat up with the force is probably a superb choice. The Vader Gas Bottle Log Burner is the work of Doddieszoomer, a high school teacher from Barnsley, England. It looks pretty damn good with a fire raging.
