Hummer EV, GMC’s First All-Electric Super Truck

For the first time in over a decade, GMC has introduced a new Hummer model. The 2022 Hummer EV will be completely green. With an electric power plant, the Hummer EV is a new chapter for ‘the gas guzzling Hummer’.

The EV has many features never seen before in electric trucks. The all-wheel-drive truck has a power of 1,000 HP. Three motors from the Ultium battery give it a torque of 11,500 ft/lb, taking it from 0 to 60 mph in only 3 seconds. Using a lever 2 home charge box, the EV will get 100 miles of distance with only 10 minutes of charge from a DC 350kWh station.

GMC Hummer EV will also have “crab mode” for parallel parking. It will be able to scale vertical terrain up to 18 inches. With armored plating on the battery, it will drive through 2 feet of water and avoid any punctures. The batteries will also be able to clean themselves of any debris.

Another feature of the EV is the “infinity roof,” or transparent “sky panels.” The sky panels will are removable offering over 13 inches diagonally and over 12 inches for driver display. Additionally, it will have supercruise driver assist, allowing drivers to merely keep their eyes on the road.

For a world that is going green, the Hummer EV is a pioneering model truck. It will be available in the spring of 2023, and for just $100, you can reserve your very own Hummer EV. The models range from $79,995 to $112,595 but are worth every penny.
