Lash Clock by Bina Baitel is an interesting creation. It is a circular disk inlaid with hair (or fiber), which is parted to represent the position of the hour and minute hands. The clock’s idea is to offer a “new experience in the perception of time.”
A goal it certainly does achieve by making it difficult to tell the time. It certainly is a problem if you can’t distinguish between the hour and minute hands – and guessing the time by looking outside is probably not the best solution. Hours are marked by a slightly larger gap, so you can tell time, but we assume it’s going to take more effort than a quick glance at the clock.
Apart from that little rant, we do think it is an interesting design that follows the statement the designer is trying to make.
