Trying to nap at work can be dangerous, wearing a futon so you could take a nap at work is ludicrous. Well, maybe it isn’t so bad because the Japanese apparently have a tradition called Inemuri, or sleeping on the job, which is considered perfectly acceptable. Well, if your workplace has no problem with you taking a nap, maybe it isn’t such a bad idea after all. Except the part about wearing a futon. Nothing can justify that.
Wearable Futon, which we keep hoping turns out to be a gag, happens to be a product from Japan’s leading office supplies manufacturer, King Jim. The wearable futon will be available later this month for a price of 4500 yen ($ 44.50).
