MBLOK is a small sized memory storage device, designed to save data from your smartphone or tablet. The memory device connects with your phone via Bluetooth, and backs up all the desired data. Being relatively small in size, MBLOK is easy to carry around, and since it connects via Bluetooth to your phone, there is no hassle for wires.
Plus, when it comes to backup, you won’t have to rely on the internet to save data to a cloud service, since you have access to a physical device to back the data up. MBLOK can be connected to the computer via USB, and functions similar to a flash drive to allow you ease of access while transferring data.
The device is set to be available in 128GB and 256GB variants, will use Bluetooth 4 for transfer speeds up to 24 Mbps, and offer a battery life of up to 300 hours. As a step for keeping your data transfers secure, the transfers will be encrypted using 128 bit encryption.
MBLOK is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter, with special prices for pre-orders. When the device arrives in the market early next year, the 128 GB variant is expected to retail at $280 CAD ($257), with the 256GB version at $370 CAD ($340).
